"amphibia" is an attempt to create a hybrid of human and amphibian, which takes place on the auditory and visual level. Frog and human sounds were recorded and combined into a melody performed by Itchi in the video. The latex clothing is reminiscent of frog skin with its smooth, shiny and slimy texture.
Like the amphibians, itchi also sheds its skin, but instead of eating its own skin to internalise its nutritional values, the skinned product is worn on the body as a garment.
